On behalf of the board of the Austrian Society of Allergology and Immunology and the symposium organizing committee, we are pleased to invite you for a day of Allergology and Immunology.

Wilfried Ellmeier & Nicole Boucheron

This ÖGAI symposium, organized on the occasion of the IUIS2025 congress in Vienna, offers a great opportunity to listen to talks from the fields of immunology to allergology, ranging from basic to clinical research. The meeting will begin with a lecture from Georg Stingl about Fritz Melchers and his important scientific achievements. After a panel discussion on career prospects for scientists in Austria and abroad we will close the meeting with the award ceremony for the annual ÖGAI prizes. This will be followed by the ÖGAI general assembly. The symposium will conclude with a joint reception with our colleagues and friends from the German Society for Immunology (DGfI).
